OUR STORY

Stewards of the land, serving in need.

Victory Gardens by Raine began with a simple but urgent mission: to help communities rebuild after disaster. Founded by Raine Boyd in the aftermath of Hurricane Helene, the organization was born out of seeing firsthand how the storm left much of the land polluted, stripped of nutrients, and unable to provide food. In response, we stepped in to give communities the tools, knowledge, and hope they needed to grow again.

Though our roots are in Social Circle, GA, our vision extends far beyond our hometown. We are committed to traveling wherever disaster has struck to help restore food security and resilience. Whether it’s starting a small garden that feeds a family or supporting the development of larger-scale production farms, our goal is to help people work with the land they have and create something sustainable.

At the heart of everything we do is education. We believe that teaching communities how to nurture their soil, grow their own food, and care for the land empowers them long after the immediate crisis has passed. More than just planting seeds, we are cultivating hope, stewardship, and a lasting connection to the land God has entrusted to us.

At Victory Gardens by Raine, we see our work as more than planting seeds and building gardens—it’s a way of serving God by serving others. Every project is an opportunity to share His love, restore hope, and steward the land He has entrusted to us. We believe that by teaching and equipping communities to grow their own food, we are living out our calling to use our gifts in service to those in need.

Each of you should use whatever gift you have received to serve others, as faithful stewards of God’s grace in its various forms.
1 Peter 4:10
